Renting out or finding a home should feel straightforward, and my aim is to make the letting process as smooth and stress-free as possible for landlords and tenants alike. I have spent over ten years working in property, and in a previous role I worked across a portfolio of more than 150 units, a mix of HMO rooms, student accommodation, flats, houses, retail units, warehouses and offices, experience that taught me to treat every property as if it were my own: protecting its value, keeping it fully compliant, and matching it with the right tenant. Alongside my work as an agent, I am an active property investor and landlord in my own right, running an investment, development and management business across the West Midlands.

Over that time, I’ve watched the private rented sector change a great deal, and I’ve seen both landlords and tenants feel the real impact of government intervention in the market. That experience has shaped how I think about the job. I believe landlords who provide good quality, well-maintained homes deserve good quality tenants in return, people who treat the property as their own, look after it, and maintain it to the standard the landlord expects. Too often, landlords don’t see their tenants as invested partners in the business, and I think that’s a mistake: any business owner understands the value of every stakeholder, and without tenants, a landlord simply has no business at all. I treat tenants the way I’d want my own family treated, because that mutual respect is what actually protects a property and a tenancy for the long term.
